July 14th – Arrive at the Teton Mountain Lodge in Teton Village. This 4-star resort at the foot of Rendezvous Mountain is located at the gateway of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Enjoy four nights where western hospitality rises to a new level of luxury. Daily breakfast is included. Meet your fellow travelers at a Welcome Dinner at the Cascade Restaurant at the Teton Mountain Lodge. Award winning Executive Chef Kevin Humphreys brings experience and creativity to his elegant menu inspired by the America West. After dinner, enjoy the Festival’s weekly Spotlight concert featuring the acclaimed Grammy nominated Afro-Cuban Latin Band, Tiempo Libre.
July 15th – Experience a day of spectacular Jackson Hole scenery where the deer and the antelope play. Our Fresno group’s private tour with knowledgeable, friendly and fun guides from the Teton Science School takes you to Grand Teton National Park. This evening take a Gondola ride for a spectacular view of the Tetons from a 10,000 ft elevation. Dinner will be at the Couloir Restaurant where Executive Chef Wes Hamilton produces seasonal selections. Afterwards, relax at the Festival’s Chamber Music Concert. Program details will be announced in May.
July 16th – There’s no place like it on Earth! The Teton Science School guides take you to Yellowstone National Park where nature’s geysers and the dramatic vistas of Yellowstone Canyon provide memories for a lifetime. This evening you will have free time to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Jackson Hole and dine on your own at one of the world-class restaurants in Teton Village or the near-by town of Jackson.
July 17th – Visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Situated on a dramatic cliff overlooking the Jackson National Elk Refuge the museum appears to emerge from the earth like a natural outcropping of rock. The location provides a rare opportunity to view wildlife in its natural habitat, as does the artwork that pays tribute to it. Your afternoon and dinner are on your own to explore. This evening you will enjoy the renowned Festival Orchestra, featuring Sarah Chang performing Max Bruch’s lushly romantic G-minor Violin Concerto, along with Mozart’s Symphonies 40 and 41, conducted by Music Director Donald Runnicles
